Lobos Island Ferry and Snorkel from Corralejo
Overview
Lobos is a small, protected volcanic island just off the northern tip of Fuerteventura, with no roads, no hotels and no shops. The ferry from Corralejo harbour takes about ten minutes to reach El Puertito, a cluster of fishermen's huts on its south coast.
This trip combines the return ferry with a short boat ride and around 25 minutes of snorkelling in the clear water near the pier, with equipment provided and the crew on hand if it's your first time. Afterwards you have free time on the island: walk the marked trails towards Montaña de la Caldera and the lighthouse, or swim from the sheltered beach before catching your chosen boat back.
Visits are limited to protect the island, so everyone needs a free permit, the LobosPass, for either the morning (10:00 to 14:00) or afternoon (14:00 to 18:00) slot. We'll arrange it with your booking. There is no shade or shop on Lobos, so take water, a hat and sun cream.
