Cookie policy

Cookies and similar technologies (such as the browser's "local storage" and "session storage") let a website save small pieces of information on your device. UK and Spanish law require us to tell you what we store, and to ask for your consent unless the storage is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.

In short: skyraytravel.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our statistics tool does not use cookies at all. The site only stores the choices you make (language, currency), your last search while you browse, and whether you asked to show the flight search. The flight search, which comes from our technology provider and does use cookies, only loads after you click to show it.

1. What skyraytravel.com stores on your device

All of these are set by SkyRay Travel itself, are needed for things you ask the site to do, and are never used to track you or shared with anyone:

• skyray.locale (local storage) — remembers the language you chose (English or Spanish), so the site opens in that language next time. Saved only when you choose a language. Kept until you clear your browser data.
• skyray.currency (local storage) — remembers the currency you chose (GBP or EUR). Saved only when you choose a currency. Kept until you clear your browser data.
• skyray.lastSearch (session storage) — keeps your last search (for example destination and dates) so the search box stays filled in as you move between pages. Deleted when you close the browser tab.
• skyray.flightsConsent (session storage) — remembers that you clicked "Show flight search", so the flight engine does not ask again during your visit. Deleted when you close the browser tab.

If you prefer, simply do not change the language or currency, and clear the site data for skyraytravel.com in your browser at any time.

Security. Cloudflare, our network and security provider, may set a short-lived security cookie (such as __cf_bm, 30 minutes, or cf_clearance after a security check) to tell people from automated bots. These are strictly necessary to protect the site.

Staff only. Our content management system at cms.skyraytravel.com uses its own login cookies and browser storage for our staff. Visitors to skyraytravel.com never receive them.

2. Statistics without cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. It does not place cookies or use local storage on your device, does not follow you across websites, and gives us aggregated figures only.

We do not use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

3. Maps

Maps on our hotel, tour and contact pages come from OpenStreetMap. The map is shown inside our page from openstreetmap.org, which receives your IP address to deliver the map but does not set cookies (checked on 28 September 2026). The "Open in Google Maps" link takes you to Google's website only if you click it; Google's own privacy and cookie policies then apply.

4. Flight search (vuelos.skyraytravel.com)

Our flight search and booking engine is run by our technology provider, Nexit, on vuelos.skyraytravel.com, and is shown inside our flights page. It only loads after you click "Show flight search". Until then, nothing is loaded from the engine.

Once you have clicked, the engine sets its own cookies:

• ASP.NET_SessionId — keeps your flight search and booking working during your visit (strictly necessary). Deleted when you close the browser.
• webtravelcaster — stores the engine's site and language setting (about 14 days).
• Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga and _gid) — visitor statistics for the flight engine, collected by Google for the engine. These are not necessary for the search to work. If you do not want them, do not load the flight search; you can ask us for flight quotes by email or WhatsApp instead.

5. How to control or delete what is stored

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, and you can set your browser to block cookies. The help pages of the main browsers explain how:

If you block everything, the site still works, but it will not remember your language or currency.
