Positano & Amalfi Boat Day from Sorrento
Overview
The best way to see the Amalfi Coast is from the water, and this small-group boat day shows you both its most famous towns. You leave Sorrento's harbour and round the tip of the peninsula, past the Baths of Queen Giovanna, the Punta Campanella marine reserve and the bay of Ieranto, with a stop to swim on the way.
Then the coast opens up: the Li Galli islets, the sheer cliffs and the Furore fjord, before you land in Amalfi for about an hour and a half to see the cathedral and wander the lanes. Positano comes next, with around two hours to explore its steep streets, shops and beach. On the way back there's time for one last swim.
Boats carry a maximum of 12 guests, with a skipper, a toilet and a shower on board. Drinks, fruit and a bottle of prosecco are included; lunch is up to you in Amalfi or Positano. Trips run in good weather and can be moved if the sea is rough.
