Dolphin Watching Cruise from Albufeira
Overview
The sea off the Algarve is home to wild dolphins, and this cruise goes out to find them. You board a comfortable catamaran at Albufeira Marina and head out along the coast with a marine biologist, who explains how the dolphins live and feed and which species you're likely to see.
When a pod is found, the boat slows down and keeps a respectful distance so you can watch them surface and ride the bow wave. On the way, the route also takes in the cliffs and sea caves of the central Algarve, including the Benagil cave, and there may be a chance to swim if time and weather allow.
