Blue Cave and Five Islands Boat Tour from Split
Overview
This is the big day out from Split: a fast boat across the open Adriatic to the Blue Cave on Biševo, then a string of the most photographed spots in central Dalmatia, finishing with a long stop in Hvar town.
You leave the Split Riva early, timed so you reach Biševo when the sun lights the cave. There you switch to a small local boat to duck through the low entrance, and for a few minutes the whole chamber glows electric blue from light coming in under the water. Back on board, you run along the cliffs of Vis and past the narrow entrance of Stiniva cove, then stop to swim and snorkel in the shallow turquoise lagoon of Budikovac. In Hvar town you have about two hours for lunch, the main square or the climb to the fortress. A last swim in a quiet cove off Brač rounds off the day before the ride back to Split.
Crossings can be bumpy, so it's not ideal if you get seasick.

No. The authorities close it when the sea is rough. If that happens the route changes, with more time around Vis, and you do not pay the cave fee.
On this route Stiniva is seen from the water, not a swim stop. You swim at Budikovac and in a cove off Brač.
