Ronda day trip with the bullring

Ronda sits on top of a cliff, split in two by El Tajo, a gorge around 100 metres deep, and joined by the Puente Nuevo, the 18th-century bridge that appears on every postcard of Andalucía. The drive up from the coast climbs through the mountains of the Serranía de Ronda.

A local guide walks you through the town: the views from the Puente Nuevo, the old Moorish quarter across the bridge, and the Real Maestranza bullring, one of the oldest in Spain. Entry to the bullring is included, so you can walk into the arena itself.

Then you have a couple of hours to find lunch, look over the gorge from the viewpoints or walk the old town on your own, before the coach takes you back down to the coast.
