Gibraltar day trip with the Rock tour
Overview
A day in Gibraltar is a Costa del Sol classic: red phone boxes, pubs and pounds sterling at the foot of the Rock. The coach takes you along the coast to the border at La Línea, and from there a minibus tour climbs the Rock itself.
On the Upper Rock nature reserve you meet the Barbary macaques, Europe's only wild monkeys, and look across the Strait to Africa on a clear day. The tour includes St Michael's Cave, a limestone cave lit up inside the Rock, and Europa Point, the southern tip, with its lighthouse and monuments.
Afterwards you have free time for lunch and shopping along Main Street before the drive back to your resort.
