Overview
Vanuatu is built for both slow days and big adventures. Swim in Santo's blue holes, stand at the rim of Mount Yasur on Tanna, snorkel reefs around Efate, hike jungle and ash plains, visit kastom villages and explore Port Vila's markets.
This journey spends ten nights on the three main islands. Efate is home to Port Vila and offers day tours, snorkelling, markets and harbour experiences. Tanna is the setting for Mount Yasur and strong kastom experiences, kastom being the traditional way of life. Santo is known for blue holes, wreck diving and long white-sand beaches.

Frequently asked questions
UK passport holders don't need a visa for a holiday, currently for stays of up to 30 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you arrive, and you'll need a return ticket. Check the latest rules before you travel.
The drier, cooler months from about May to October are the most comfortable. Cyclone season runs from about November to May, when it is hotter and wetter.
By short domestic flights from Port Vila. Return flights between Port Vila and Tanna and between Port Vila and Santo are included.
The Yasur Volcano Safari takes you up to the crater rim. Access depends on the volcano's official alert level, so the visit can change or be cancelled at short notice.
Plugs are Type I, as in Australia, at 230 V, so bring a UK adaptor. The currency is the vatu (VUV).
