Overview
Bandara sits right on the white sand of Bophut Beach on Samui's quieter north coast, a short walk from the restaurants and Friday walking street of Fisherman's Village. It's a relaxed, tropical resort of 168 rooms and suites that suits couples, families and groups of friends.
Rooms range from Deluxe rooms with two queen beds and Tropical Canopy rooms to Family Suites with bunk beds, and pool villas with a courtyard plunge pool or a garden pool if you want to treat yourselves.
There are four outdoor pools, including a beachside pool and a 60 cm children's pool, plus the Monkey Club for kids, Shine Spa and a fitness centre. Chom Dao Beach Club serves Thai and international food looking out to sea, and there's a beach bar and a pool bar. The resort has won Thailand's Kinnaree tourism award from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away.
