Overview
Beyond Kata, formerly Kata Beach Resort & Spa, sits directly on the sand of Kata Beach, one of Phuket's most popular family beaches, with Koh Pu island just offshore. It's a big, easy-going resort of 275 rooms, recently renovated, with a lagoon-style pool running through palm gardens down to the beach.
Most rooms are 28 m² with a balcony; choose a Deluxe Premier Seaview for the view, or a Superior or Deluxe Pool Access room to step from your terrace into the water. Deluxe Poolview rooms (40 m²) and the seaview suites give families more space.
Children have their own pool and a Kids' Club, and babysitting can be arranged. Breakfast is served at the Atrium Restaurant, lunch and dinner at the At Beach Bar and Restaurant on the sand, and steaks at Motown On Fire. Unwind at Kanda Spa. Kata's restaurants and shops are on the doorstep, and Patong is about 25 minutes away by road.
