Dubai Creek dhow dinner cruise
Overview
Spend an evening on the water in a traditional wooden dhow, the kind of boat that once carried goods and pearls along Dubai Creek.
You board at Al Seef, on the Bur Dubai bank, shortly before 8pm, with a welcome drink. For about 90 minutes the dhow glides between Bur Dubai and Deira, passing the lit-up old waterfront, the busy abra stations and the modern towers beyond.
Dinner is an international buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and water, tea and coffee are included. Sit in the air-conditioned lower deck or take your plate to the open upper deck for the views. A Tanoura dancer performs on board to live music.
It's a relaxed, good-value night out, and it works well after a day in the souks. Hotel transfers can be added.
