Round-the-island catamaran cruise with Green Island lunch
Overview
The best way to see all of Antigua's coastline is from the deck of a catamaran. This full-day cruise circles the island, with music playing, a friendly crew and a bar that opens once the swimming is done.
Heading along the north coast, you sail in open water past Jumby Bay and Bird Island, then round the east coast to see Devil's Bridge from the sea. The boat anchors off Green Island, an uninhabited island in the southeast. Swim or snorkel over the reef with the crew's guidance, or just lie on the soft white beach, while lunch is cooked on board.
In the afternoon you cruise west past English Harbour and the Pillars of Hercules rock formations, then along the calm Caribbean coast, where the bays are lined with white sand. You're back at your departure point in the late afternoon.
Depending on the boat, you're collected from the beach at a main west-coast hotel or check in at the harbour in St John's.
