St. James's Club & Villas
Overview
St. James's Club & Villas is an all-inclusive resort on its own 100-acre peninsula at Mamora Bay, on Antigua's sheltered southeast coast. It has two beaches with different moods. The bayside beach is busy with kayaks, Hobie Cats and paddleboards, while Coco's Beach on the ocean side is calmer, for reading and long walks along the shore.
With six pools, four tennis courts, three pickleball courts and a daily programme of activities, there's plenty to fill the day. Children aged 4 to 12 have a free Kids Club, and grown-ups can book the spa or join the daily yoga sessions. You can eat at the Rainbow Garden, The Docksider, Coco's and Piccolo Mondo, all included.
Rooms range from garden-view Club Rooms to Beachfront Rooms steps from Coco's Beach, and two-bedroom villas for up to six. There's also an adults-only (18+) Royal Suites section with its own pool.
English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley Heights are about five minutes away by car, and the airport is around 30 minutes.
