Overview
Jolly Beach Antigua is the island's largest resort and one of its best-value all-inclusive stays. It sits on a 40-acre site on the southwest coast, on a mile-long curve of soft white sand with calm, shallow water that's perfect for swimming.
Days are easy here. Swim up to the bar in the huge main pool, or find a quieter spot by the second pool. Play beach volleyball or tennis, or take out a kayak or one of the other non-motorised water sports. There are three restaurants, three bars, a coffee shop, a spa and beauty salon, a fitness centre and a games room.
Rooms come in five categories, and all have a private balcony or terrace, most of them with a view. The on-site tour desk books island safaris, catamaran cruises, snorkelling and zipline trips, and Jolly Harbour's marina, golf course and supermarket are close by.
All guests must be 12 or over, so it's a good pick for couples, friends and families with teenagers.
