Overview
Occidental Costa Cancún is a 4-star all-inclusive at kilometre 4.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard, on the northern arm of Cancún's Hotel Zone. It looks out over Playa Linda and the calm Bahía de Mujeres, so the water here is usually gentler than on the open Caribbean side. It's also one of the closest Hotel Zone resorts to downtown Cancún and the ferries to Isla Mujeres.
The 358 rooms are decorated in a bright Mediterranean style. You can choose a renovated double, a room with a bigger terrace, or a sea-view room, each with a king-size bed or two doubles. The all-inclusive plan covers four restaurants: the Albatros buffet, La Claraboya for fish and seafood, México Lindo for Mexican dishes and La Trattoria for Italian.
Spend the day between the pool and the beach, try the non-motorised water sports, and catch a show in the evening. There's a kids' club, a gym, and a spa with sauna, steam bath and hydromassage.
The airport is about 28 km away, and the Pok-Ta-Pok golf course is about 3 km along the boulevard.
