Overview
Grand Hotel Gozo sits on the hill above Mġarr, the harbour where the ferries from Malta arrive, with views across the fishing boats and the Gozo Channel towards Comino and Malta. Most rooms face the sea.
Rooms range from inland and country-view doubles to sea-view rooms with a balcony or terrace, family rooms and suites. All have air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
The outdoor pool looks straight over the harbour and is open from April to October, while the indoor pool and the Elemis spa are open all year. Breakfast is included, and in summer there are barbecues on the roof. Level Nine, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, is overseen by chef Oliver Glowig.
The hotel is non-smoking throughout. It's a comfortable base for exploring Gozo: the Ġgantija temples, the Cittadella in Victoria and the beaches at Ramla and Xlendi are all within a short drive.
