Overview
The Osborne puts you right in the middle of Valletta, inside one of the palaces built by the Knights of the Order of St John. St John's Co-Cathedral, the Grand Master's Palace and the Upper Barrakka Gardens are all a short walk through the city's grid of Baroque streets.
The hotel's 63 rooms are air-conditioned, with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. Choose a standard room, or a superior or deluxe room with a sea view over Marsamxett Harbour towards Sliema.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the lobby level, with both English and continental choices. On warm afternoons, head up to the rooftop pool and sun terrace, then finish the evening in the bar and lounge, open until 11pm. There is also a small gym.
Valletta bus terminus is about seven minutes' walk away, and the ferry to Sliema leaves from Marsamxett Harbour, five minutes from the hotel. It's a good choice for a city break, or for a few nights of sightseeing before a beach stay.

No. Valletta's streets are narrow and busy, so we recommend arriving by transfer. There is a public car park about 150 metres away and a larger paid car park just outside the city walls.
It's a city hotel, not a beach hotel. Locals swim off the rocks along the harbour, and the ferry takes you to Sliema's lidos in a few minutes. Many guests combine a few nights here with a beach hotel in Mellieħa or Qawra.
