Santorini Cooking Class with Wine
Overview
Cook the dishes you've been ordering all week. In this hands-on class, a local chef shows you how the island's volcanic produce becomes Santorini's best-loved recipes.
Make smooth fava from yellow split peas, crisp tomato fritters with the island's sweet cherry tomatoes, and a fresh Santorini salad. Then prepare the main course: pork or chicken in a sauce made with Vinsanto, the island's sweet sun-dried wine. Along the way you'll learn about local ingredients and how the island's grape varieties are grown.
When the cooking is done, sit down to eat everything you've made, paired with local wine. You'll go home with a recipe booklet, so you can bring a taste of Santorini back to your own kitchen. Hotel pick-up and return are included.
