Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking and Snorkelling
Overview
See Dubrovnik the way sailors did: from the water, looking up at the walls. This guided sea kayak trip starts from the small bay below the Pile Gate and covers about 4 km, with a snorkelling stop along the way.
After a short safety briefing you paddle out under the walls and Fort Lovrijenac, then head towards the wooded island of Lokrum. The group stops at Betina cave, a small beach inside a sea cave that you can only reach from the water, for a swim and a snorkel. Then you paddle back past the Old Town walls to the start.
No experience is needed, but you should be a swimmer with reasonable fitness. Morning trips have the calmest water, and a sunset version is also available.
