Watercity Waterpark Day
Overview
Watercity is Crete's big waterpark, set on a hillside at Anopolis between Heraklion and Hersonissos. With 44 slides, there's something for every nerve, from the Kamikaze and the Turbo Cyclone bowl to racing slides where you can challenge the family.
For a slower pace, float round the lazy river on a rubber ring or relax in the giant pool, the jacuzzi and the sunbed areas, where loungers and umbrellas are free while they last. Younger children have their own pools and splash zones, with smaller slides for kids between 90 cm and 140 cm tall.
The park runs on a cashless wristband, with restaurants and bars on site, lockers and free parking. Buses run from many hotels and resorts, so you can leave the car behind and make a full day of it.

Frequently asked questions
Most slides need a minimum height of 1.40 m. Children between 90 cm and 1.40 m can use the lower-level slides, and under-13s must be accompanied.
No, outside food is not allowed. There are several restaurants and bars in the park, paid with the wristband.
