Seaside Los Jameos
Overview
Seaside Los Jameos sits on the beach promenade at Playa de los Pocillos, at the quieter end of Puerto del Carmen, with only its subtropical gardens between the hotel and the sand. The low white buildings were designed by students of César Manrique, Lanzarote's best-known artist, and the palm-filled grounds hold the pools, restaurants, a playground and mini golf.
It is a very family-friendly hotel: there is a children's pool with slides, a baby pool, a kids' club and an activity programme, while adults can play tennis, beach volleyball or billiards, or book time in the spa, with saunas, a cold plunge pool and treatments. You can stay on bed and breakfast, half board or all inclusive, eating in the buffet restaurant, on the terrace or by the pool.
Rooms have been fully refurbished. The airport is only about 4 km away, around 10 minutes by car, the centre of Puerto del Carmen is about 5 minutes' drive and Timanfaya National Park around 20 minutes.
