Overview
Barceló Fuerteventura Castillo, formerly Barceló Castillo Beach Resort, faces the calm, golden-sand bay of Playa del Castillo in Caleta de Fuste, on Fuerteventura's east coast. The resort has been fully refurbished, and instead of a tower block you stay in one of around 300 Canarian-style bungalows or suites spread through the gardens, with family options, sea views and some with hydromassage baths.
Three pools look out to sea, one beside the old stone watchtower that gives the resort its name. Eat at buffet and à la carte restaurants, from local dishes to Italian, Mexican and Brazilian food, with a pool bar, sports bar and beach bar. Children have a kids' club and there is entertainment for all ages, plus mini golf, tennis, paddle tennis and a wellness centre.
All inclusive is available, and All Inclusive Plus adds premium drinks. The marina next door is the place for diving and boat trips, and Fuerteventura airport is only about 7 km away.
