Overview
Rove Downtown puts you in the heart of new Dubai for a fraction of the price of its famous neighbours. The Dubai Mall is under ten minutes' walk away, and from there the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain and Dubai Opera are all on foot.
The Rover Rooms are 26 square metres, bright and cleverly planned, with a sofa bed for an extra guest, a mini-fridge, a 48-inch smart TV, fast Wi-Fi and a rain shower. Book a Burj View room and you wake up facing the tallest building in the world. About 30% of rooms interconnect, which helps families travelling together.
Spend the afternoon at the saltwater outdoor pool (open 8am to 8pm), work out in the 24-hour gym, or play table tennis and foosball in the lobby. There's a 24-hour laundromat and a convenience store for the basics.
Check-in is from 4pm, and check-out is a relaxed 2pm, which gives you a last swim before an evening flight.
