Overview
Griya Santrian is a family-owned beachfront resort in Sanur, on Bali's east coast, and has been welcoming guests for more than 40 years. The reef offshore keeps the water calm, so the beach is good for swimming and paddling, and the seafront path runs past the gardens for walks and bike rides at sunrise.
Rooms are spread across the Garden Wing, the Beach Wing and the main Deluxe rooms, with a small number of Santrian Suites and a Family Beach Wing. There are three pools, including one by the beach with a children's section, and a sunken pool bar.
The Wantilan restaurant faces the sea and serves Balinese and international dishes, and the Starfish Beach Lounge is the spot for a drink by the sand. The Rama Sita Spa offers traditional treatments, and there is a small art gallery with work by local artists. It is a relaxed, easy-going choice for families and for anyone planning a day trip to Nusa Penida, as the boats leave from Sanur.
