Overview
Elaphusa stands among pine trees on the south coast of Brač, about 50 metres from the sea and a ten-minute walk along the shore to Zlatni Rat, the long pebble spit that is one of Croatia's best-known beaches. Bol's harbour and village centre are about 800 metres away.
The seawater pools are the centre of the day: a large outdoor pool with a children's section, plus an indoor pool in the thalasso wellness centre, one of the largest in Dalmatia, with whirlpools, saunas and massages. It's also the sportiest hotel in Bol, with a gym and bowling alley, a tennis centre with 20 clay courts next door, a diving centre, and windsurfing off Zlatni Rat.
There's a buffet restaurant, an à la carte taverna and several bars. Rooms were renovated in 2022, many with sea views. Choose bed and breakfast or half board. Getting here takes about two hours from Split airport, including a ferry of around 50 minutes.
