Overview
Amfora sits in its own pine-fringed bay just west of Hvar town, about a ten-minute walk along the shore from the harbour and main square. From the balconies you look straight out to the Pakleni Islands.
The resort is known for its cascading pool, a series of terraced freshwater pools and waterfalls with shaded cabanas and pool bars. The pebble beach is right below, with the Bonj 'les bains' beach club and its stone cabanas at the edge of the bay. There's a kids club, a spa and plenty of water sports nearby.
The resort has several restaurants and bars, from a restaurant with sea views to a beachside grill. Rooms have balconies, many with sea views, and the hotel says a set of newly renovated rooms opens for 2026. It's a good choice for families and couples who want resort facilities within walking distance of Hvar's harbour, restaurants and summer nightlife.
