Ibiza Sea Cave Kayak and Snorkel Tour from Cala Codolar
Overview
Some of Ibiza's best corners can only be reached from the water. This guided kayak tour sets off from Cala Codolar, a small cove on the west coast near Cala Comte, and follows the cliffs to two sea caves, where the light turns the water bright turquoise.
You paddle at an easy pace in stable sit-on-top kayaks, with a guide who explains how the rocks were formed and tells the stories of the coast. Halfway, you stop in a sheltered cove to snorkel over meadows of posidonia seagrass, where fish gather in the clear water.
No previous experience is needed, and children from 3 years old can join, sharing a kayak with an adult. The morning tour starts at 10:30, when the sea is usually at its calmest, and the season runs from April to October. All the equipment is provided, along with water, fruit and snacks.
