Overview
Sunset at the Palms is a small, adults-only resort in Negril where you sleep among the trees. Its 85 rooms and suites are spread across wooden, treehouse-style buildings raised on stilts in about 10 acres of tropical gardens, each with a balcony, polished wood floors and air conditioning.
The resort is fully all inclusive. Eat at the buffet, the beach grill and à la carte restaurants, with premium drinks at three bars, the swim-up bar and a coffee bar. The garden pool is the centre of the day. For the beach, stroll about two minutes across the road to the resort's own beach club on Bloody Bay, with loungers, towels, a bar and grill, and non-motorised water sports.
Evenings bring live reggae several nights a week and a weekly cocktail party hosted by the staff. The Ginger Lily spa is on site at extra cost. Guests must be 18 or over, and the raised rooms are reached by steps, so the resort is not suitable for wheelchair users.
