Overview
Santorini Palace is a four-star hotel in Firostefani, on the northern edge of Fira, within walking distance of the caldera rim, the restaurants of the capital and the cliff path to Imerovigli. Its big freshwater pool, around 300 square metres, is the heart of the hotel, and the pool terrace faces the evening sun.
Rooms are fresh and bright, all with a balcony and air conditioning. Choose a double for up to three people or a larger superior room overlooking the pool, sleeping up to four. The day starts with an American buffet breakfast with Cycladic touches, and the pool bar serves juices, coffee and light Mediterranean lunches. Dinner is also available at the hotel.
There's a fitness room, free Wi-Fi and airport or port transfers on request. It suits couples who want Santorini's classic caldera scenery on foot, at a gentler price than the cliff-edge suites.
