Overview
Albatros Sharm Resort sits on the Hadaba hillside above the bay at Om El Seed, with the Sinai mountains behind it and views over the Red Sea towards Ras Mohammed. It's a straightforward, good-value 4-star in a handy spot, close to the shops and restaurants of Hadaba and near Sharm's Old Market.
White, low-rise buildings step down through the gardens to the pools, one of them heated, and on down to the resort's private beach on the bay. Rooms include Deluxe Rooms and Family Rooms with sea views, several with balconies looking out over the water.
Eat at the Sea View international restaurant, try Italian at Il Caminetto, or grab lunch at the beach bar and restaurant. Four bars, including a pool bar and the Club House, keep the drinks coming.
